hi!
I'm Maighdlyn, an architect and researcher.
A recent MArch alumna of the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, I have gained industry experience working at studios in London, Berlin, New York, and Toronto. I worked as a graduate research assistant for the Humanics Lab, gaining an understanding of the role of design processes play in the creation of positive spatial experiences.
I am excited to start the next step on my path to licensure as an intern architect and apply my knowledge base in wellbeing and restorative design to a variety of programs and typologies.
As a fellow at the Centre for Conscious Design, I am always seeking opportunities to promote health and wellbeing through design: my current focus is coauthoring a report and creating more 'general audience' content about the impacts of urban design on mental health.
My name is pronounced “MAD-lin.”
